Where I've Been and What I Shoot with

I love diving in and around the Channel Islands right here in SoCal, but I've been lucky enough to travel to some far-flung spots for diving as well. I've been to Fiji, Palau, Yap, Socorros, Cocos, Solomon Islands, Komodo, Irian Jaya, Raja Ampat, Lembeh, Papua New Guinea, Tahiti, Bonaire, Curacao, Bali, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.
I'm currently shooting with a D300 in a Subal housing and 2 Sea and Sea 250's. For macro, I use a 60mm or 105mm lens, sometimes adding a Macro Mate and/or diopters for super macro. I love the Tokina 10-17mm zoom for wide angle, but I also have a 10.5mm and 16mm. For the in-between stuff, I use a 17-35mm zoom. I'm adept at Photoshop (I teach it), but I try to get the image right in camera as much as possible.

Erin, it's awesome that you're going to be "directing." Do you direct full-time? Or is that something you do additionally? How awesome!

Note: You need to edit your profile and take the extra http:// off of the website or it takes you to an error page. The http:// is already programmed, so start with the www. :)

I hope you would subsequently fancy visiting the Philippines Erin. And when you start mulling on doing so, please say so. It would be an honor to be of help.

Thank you, Erin.

Damn right I do. Love them, though to be honest, its always a humbling experience. You're just too good, and my consolation is in the fact that you're my buddy now.
Keep safe and good luck with the UW photography. If that time comes when we as a species succeed in screwing our wealth, your work might be the only things I'd be cherishing. Hence, keep shooting Erin!

Thanks Erin. I am glad that you continue to add photos to DiversOne. I regularly check out your work in anticipation of the next great image. I will suggest to Trevor that we "feature" you and your work on D1. Next week Trevor and I will add 4 more videos of mine for the user's enjoyment. I look forward to meeting you later in the week.

Hoi Erin thanks for the information. Will buy it after our trip to Cuba which start next week. The last 4 days at the beach. If there is a change no doubt I will take a dive, otherwise only snorkling.
Greeting fro a very sunny and flowerfull Schiedam. Tulips everywhere.
