Where's Dave?

I am in Oakland this weekend taking the Coastal Cruising course. It is hot. It is Supposed to be 85 in Oakland today and there isn't much wind until you get to Treasure Island. We will be wearing lots of sunscreen and sweating my butt off. This however is another step towards achieving a dream of sailing a large Cruising Catamaran. The goal is to combine my love for Scuba and Catamaran sailing amongst other things like fishing and exploring the planet.

Oceans Of Garbage Clog World's Shorelines

This recent article on KCRA's website had some good and bad news in it and I thought would share it with my fellow dive buddies.
