I went directly to the site and it is $125 a night including tax. So it is $31 a night for 4 people or $25 for 5
Two Bedroom Townhome- This luxury style 2000 sq. ft two bedroom Townhouse has a complete kitchen, dining area, private lanai, king size…
I thought the place was a hell of alot better than manago BUT no pork chops! Thats the downfall...LOL!
Tomo, I can book the car again thru costco for you. It should be cheaper. Let me know the dates
I think we are better off staying closer to town. Less driving to dive locations. If we split the rooms it is not bad. The condo is $29 a night if we put 5 in it or $36 for 4 people. Or seaside is $36 per person.
I found a condo at Holua Resort at the Mauna Loa Village that has a king bed, two twin beds and a queen sofa for $144 a night. Would be good if we all split it.
Kona Seaside Hotel is $78 a night for two beds with breakfast
Kona Islander is $78
I would be game for Kona again. So we could dive friday sept 10 and saturday 11 and fly back sunday night. Tickets are $150 roundtrip.
Tomo, do you get a rental car? Do we need to get a car or upgrade it?
Who else is game?
I say we start at 830am. I have an appt in town at 4pm.
My camera is still in new jersey too! Damn cameras...
Michelle, I think ben might need a ride. He sold his truck.
I can bring the extra weight for jessica and the scott's reg.
Mussels, you…
I was checking out the sales at the LDS in arizona and they have a used Oceanic SP5 Alpha 8 Regulator with Alpha 8 Octo. regulators are completely overhauled and come with a 1 year warranty for $140.
Thats pretty cheap for a reg and octo.
http://w…
I talked to scott and he said I could borrow linda's reg.
As for the site, if ben and michelle have to get back early, Makaha is a far drive. I dont think ben would make work at 1230 from makaha.
Either we stick with E beach or attempt north shore…
That would be great, thanks! I will be coming up the weekend of the 13th and staying for one week. What part of the island do you dive on weekends? My son is stationed in Pearl Harbor, so I will be close to the base, but I should have access to a car as well. I've dived Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui in the past, but never Oahu. I'm excited to dive warm water, my last dive in CA was a whopping 46 degrees! : )
I will be visiting my family in Oahu next month for my birthday. I would like to do some shore diving. Is there a dive club in Oahu that would let someone from CA tag along on some organized shore dives?
