Diving is not its best these days.

Going to the ocean today was not what I wanted to see. The world is a raging storm from one coast to the other, When I can't dive I have the tendency to dry out. and that just makes me cranky, California has the some of the best diving around, San Diego has some of the best shore dives around california, the pictures I have posted on the website, are from the shores. and will post more on occations, Pictures are a great way for San Diego divers to share dive sites. and get people excited about d… Continue

Diving The La Jolla Cove yesterday was good the visibility was about 10 to 12 feet with only a light surg the most amazing thing about the cove was the lack of Kelp, normally there is a small kelp bed about just short of the 1/4 mile bouy, That is where the Black Sea Bass usually hang out that is gone, as a matter of fact the bottom was void of most remnace of the kelp bed except for the broken stalks that are attached to the bottom, I am sure that the devestation in that area was from the storms we had in the past two weeks. it was pretty weird down there. Im hopefull that it will grow back because of the attachment point are still anckored there
