I met with the CEO of Zeagle at DEMA in Orlando in November 2009. I got a sneak preview of the new Wicked BCD. Zeagle has taken their classic black Ranger and made it SWEET. Check the photos and detailed specs below. The brass rings are now oxidized, nor more shiny stuff. You can customize the fabric panels in a bunch of unique color combinations. Two months ago, the bladder octo connector gasket on my personal seven year old Ranger peeled up. I sent it back to Zeagle, they fixed it under warranty, and sent it back to me for FREE! The local dealer, Beach Cities Scuba wanted $30 for shipping and handling...I paid $7 for Fedex Ground one way, and Zeagle shipped it back to me for ree within a week! Zeagle, you get my continued business...and great job on this new BCD! I am a customer for life!
New Custom Colors
Zeagle has always been known for hand-making each of its custom BCs in their Florida factory. Now you have even MORE color options to choose from!
The Tie-Dye material is a very exclusive and unique material that is hand-dyed in one yard increments. This results in a completely unique piece of fabric every time it is brought to Zeagle's door. This custom process is expensive and time consuming (not all colors will be available at all times, not all sections of the BC will be able to be made from this material) but this means every BC cut with these colors will be completely different from the one before it, and you will get a color pattern that is as unique as you are.
The Hardware
The high-strength solid brass D-rings are uncoated and pre-oxidized to add to the design style. The pre-stressed plastic hardware is heavy duty throughout. Of course, this product is backed by Zeagle's usual high standards and limited lifetime warranty.
The Artwork
Zeagle has placed a tribal design on the vest and bladder. This adds to the unique quality and individuality of the product. With the number of people sporting ink these days, it seems like a natural addition to Zeagle's line of BCDs. Each Wicked BC includes a small temporary�Wicked tattoo . . . just for fun.
